JELF Scholars Program

JELF Scholars continue to drive change in Pediatric Nephrology through advocacy.  Please welcome Dr. Vanessa Thiel to the 16^th Cohort of the JELF Scholars Program!

“I am currently a third-year pediatric nephrology fellow at Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago. Concurrent with my fellowship, I am obtaining a Masters in Bioethics and Humanities at Northwestern University. I became a JELF scholar to develop my advocacy skills and to learn how to effectively incorporate advocacy into my career.
