Overview

The goal of this initiative is to provide members of the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology with a centralized mechanism to identify and request formalized mentorship in a variety of areas including: research; justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion; workforce; transplant; and divisional leadership. Mentorship matches are made on a society level but individual match-making will occur at the committee level.

Target Audience

ASPN is seeking members to participate - either as a mentor with experience or a mentee eager to learn.

Program Terms

Mentorship term is one year, beginning January 1 of each year, ending December 31. Members of the program will be asked to meet (virtually or in person) at least twice yearly, with opportunities to meet in-person at both PAS and ASN.

How to Participate

All ASPN members are invited to participate in this program grouped together based on the categories listed below. Registration will be open for each year beginning in October, closing mid-December to allow time for group pairings.
