ASN Nephrology Week-Long Research Course and Mentorship Program

Composed of over 21,000 physicians and scientists, ASN is the world’s largest professional society devoted to the study of kidney disease. ASN holds several programs to expand and support the nephrology workforce, including Kidney Tutored Research and Education for Kidney Scholars (TREKS). Kidney TREKS fosters an interest in nephrology through a week-long research course retreat and longitudinal mentorship program, where a mentor guides them through medical school training, residency, graduate school, or postdoctoral fellowship. ASN is now accepting applications for the 2026 Kidney TREKS program. The application deadline is Friday, January 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. EST.
