The Studer Family Children's Hospital at Sacred Heart in Pensacola, Florida is seeking a board certified/board eligible Pediatric Nephrologist. This position is employed through the University of Florida but based at The Studer Family Children's Hospital in Pensacola. The position includes an academic appointment with the University of Florida, competitive pay, and robust benefits.

A new freestanding Children’s Hospital is under construction and will open in 2019. The hospital is supported by a full complement of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists, as well as pediatric-trained ancillary support staff. There is a successful pediatric residency program, from which about half of the graduates enter fellowships. There are also medical and osteopathic schools affiliated with the hospital.

Pensacola is renowned for crystal-clear water, sugar-white sand beaches and southern hospitality. With an incorporated area population of over 400,000, Pensacola offers a sense of community not found in large metropolitan areas yet supports an excellent array of shopping, recreational, and cultural opportunities. Parents can choose from a wide array of schools including an acclaimed international baccalaureate program. With a cost-of-living below the national average, this family-oriented coastal community is hard to beat.
