The Department of Pediatrics of the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD) seeks a full-time board certified/eligible pediatric nephrologist to join its Section of Pediatric Nephrology. The Section provides advanced pediatric nephrology services, including renal replacement therapy, renal transplantation, and kidney biopsies, to children across the state of New Hampshire and eastern Vermont by an interdisciplinary care team. Care is delivered at CHaD’s two major specialty hubs, a comprehensive ambulatory center in Manchester, New Hampshire, and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC), the region’s 396-bed academic medical center in Lebanon, NH, which are linked through robust telehealth technologies.

In addition to CHaD’s level III NICU, PICU, and inpatient ward, DHMC hosts New Hampshire’s only Level-1 trauma center and its only air ambulance service; the Norris Cotton Cancer Center, one of only 41 National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the United States; and over 30 graduate medical education programs, including a core Pediatrics residency. Active participation in pediatric undergraduate, graduate, and continuing medical education is required, with appointment to the faculty of the Audrey and Theodor Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth at appropriate rank expected. Academic opportunities across Dartmouth’s campuses include world-class traditional biomedical research, global health initiatives, and renowned leadership in quality improvement and healthcare delivery sciences.
