Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Pediatric Center of Excellence in Nephrology (CHOP PCEN)

The CHOP PCEN is looking for research projects from investigators with research interests related to the prevention, treatment, or progression of kidney disease in children, identifying novel targets for future therapies, the mechanisms of kidney disease, or any projects that may decrease the barriers to implementing clinical trials in children with kidney disease. The center requests an initial, 1-page letter of intent (LOI) which describes the main objectives, purpose, and needs of the potential pilot project.

Letters of Intent are due March 1, 2018 by 5:00PM EST and should be emailed as a PDF to John Coulter at

A chosen portion – based on scientific merit, feasibility, and other factors – of the submitted LOIs will be asked to submit full proposals. The investigators chosen to submit full proposals will be notified on March 19, 2018.
